Feed Our Neighbors During the Shutdown
With the government shutdown stretching on, thousands of families are bracing for a harsh reality this November, missed SNAP (food assistance) payments. And with Thanksgiving just around the corner, the thought of children missing meals or families struggling to put food on the table is heartbreaking.
This isn’t about politics, it’s about people. It’s about caring for our neighbors, our community, and those who suddenly find themselves in need through no fault of their own.
Our goal is simple:
💛 Provide grocery store gift cards to families affected by the shutdown so they can buy the food they need with dignity and choice.
We’re aiming to raise enough to cover 20 gift cards valued at $50 each, that’s $1,000 total. Every donation helps. Whether you can cover one card, half a card, or even just a few dollars, every bit makes a difference.
Let’s come together and show what community truly means. No child should go hungry, and no family should have to choose between paying bills and buying food.
If you’re able, please donate, and share this page to help spread the word.
Because we all need a little help sometimes. 💛
